The fabric for this collection was produced with a Tsuri Ami, a traditional loopwheel knitting machine. It rotates slowly around a cylinder, assembling multiple layers of cotton to fashion a soft yet sturdy fabric. This juxtaposition of qualities produces an architectural shape that drapes comfortably on the wearer’s body.

Founded in 2013 by brothers Keng How and Kage Chong, menswear label biro focuses on craft and design to create timeless wardrobe staples. biro emphasises quality through a minimalistic approach to fashion. The label’s garments are made by artisans in Japan using traditional techniques and fabrics sourced from within the country.
