The two tails attached to the back of the bonnet are symbolic of two spirits representing death and ruin, and are meant to guide and protect the wearer.
The Two Tailed Bonnet is a headpiece custom made for a friend and artist, Hilary Yeo. The bonnet, which is usually used by a child, here simultaneously captures a sense of darkness. The two tails attached to the back of the bonnet are symbolic of two spirits representing death and ruin, and are meant to guide and protect the wearer.
