The Heart On My Sleeve jacket belongs to the 2022 demi-custom Heart On My Sleeve Collection. It explores the co-existence of juxtaposing characteristics and balance of being gentle yet strong. Lina merges classic tailored silhouettes and fluidity in drape to reinforce the contrast in characteristics. The garment takes on the customary shape of a tailored jacket with pattern making and experimental draping techniques. The design seamlessly merges traditional formal wear with an element of light-heartedness by adding the volume draped sleeves.

In terms of construction processes, Lina usually relies on tested pattern making methods, but there is an unconventional take seen in the sculpted balloon skirt from a personal collection titled Off-Grain. The joining seams are not shaped to match together but rather are completely opposite, which allows the fabric's weave and unusual draping to shape the silhouette of the skirt.

Lina Osman graduated with a diploma in Apparel Design and Merchandising from Temasek Polytechnic in 2016 and founded LINAOTH in 2020. The brand focuses on crafting a contemporary style which exists in between artistic creativity and wearable romantic-wear.
